I am 15 years of age and a sophomore in high school. I like to sing for fun. I am currently learning to play the piano. I also plan to learn how to play the guitar. I have never read a book like Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell before. It makes me want to keep on reading it because it is so good. I am not a big reader. I do not like to read for fun, in fact, I drag myself to read every time (well most of the time), but this book had me hooked to it. I was almost to half of the book after reading it for only four days. Remember, I am not a fan of reading nor am I good/fast at it. I do not like books that have a bad ending because the endings are the last words of the book and yet it is not good, for example, The Giver by Lois Lowry. It was a good book, but I hated the ending. After reading Eleanor and Park for three days, my friend told me that she really liked the book but the ending was not going to be as good. I said sarcastically, “Oh, thanks for letting my hopes up.”
Anyways, one thing that would surprise my peers at school is that I am actually talkative. I just choose not to talk to them. I also joke around a lot. I can be very serious at necessary times, but I can also be very sarcastic and loud. I remember in 5th grade at the (class) talent show I cracked everyone up. This one person in my class even said that he was going to give me my own comedian show. I have forgotten most of my jokes though.
My favorite animal is the tiger, mainly the white tiger. Eleanor and Park is currently my favorite book. I like many songs and cannot choose which song would be my favorite. To me it would be as if I was favoring my kids and that is not possible. They are all good in their own way. My favorite color is baby blue always have been and always will be. I do not get how people can change his or her favorite color. It is not like you have discovered this new color and it is more appealing to you now. For books and movies, I would understand because there are always new ones that come around. My favorite number is eight. Again, the number eight had always been my favorite number and always will be.
Who am I? Let me introduce my name. Hello, I am Coua.
